The Connells were a rock group formed in Raleigh, North Carolina by David Connell (bass), his brother Mike Connell (guitar), Doug MacMillan (vocals) and John Shultz (drums).
While not becoming a big hit in the band's native United States, the song became a Top 20 hit throughout Europe in early 1995, eventually reaching the UK, where it became the band's sole hit.
