D:Ream is a Northern Irish pop rock and dance group. They had a UK #1 hit with "Things Can Only Get Better" in 1994 as well as eight more top 40 hits including "U R The Best Thing".
"U R the Best Thing" stalled at Number 72 in the UK Top 75 on first release in July 1992. It was later re-issued in 1993 where it reached Number 19 and again in 1994 where it peaked at Number four.
