The song's music video was filmed by frequent Bruno Mars' director Cameron Duddy. The clip was shot in New York and stars Ronson, Mars and the Hawaiian singer's backing band, The Hooligans.
Most funk-inflected songs with heavy swagger appeal strictly to a male audience, but this one is far more inclusive, with Mars making numerous overtures to the ladies: "This one for them hood girls" "Them good girls" "Straight masterpieces ... "Girls hit your hallelujah". The girls are clearly welcome at this party and appreciated.
