A snippet of the song was performed on Saturday Night Live, along with "Poker Face" and "LoveGame". The final version of "Bad Romance" premiered during the finale of fashion designer Alexander McQueen's 2010 Paris Fashion Week show.
This won Best Song at the 2010 MTV European Music Awards. The singer also won the trophies for Best Pop and Best Female at the ceremony.
